By the end of 2008, Phase I of the S M Sehgal Foundation campus was constructed in Gurugram, Haryana. This eco-friendly, energy-efficient, and sustainable building was awarded the highest rating set by the US Green Building Council and the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). It was only the second building in Gurgaon to achieve this distinction, the fifth building in all of India, and the 75th building in the entire world.
