  • S M Sehgal Foundation's communications department has an opening for a creative graphic designer with up-to-date knowledge to interpret our needs and to design solutions with high visual impact. You will work on a variety of products, including booklets, mailers, project catalogues, websites, leaflets, emailers etc. and you will work in tandem with the communications and projects team.

    Position: Graphic Designer

    Location: Gurugram, Haryana

    Reports to: Director, Communications

    Responsibilities

    1. Cultivate a solid body of work
    2. Take the design “brief” to record requirements and needs
    3. Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
    4. Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
    5. Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas
    6. Amend final designs to clients comments and gain full approval
    7. Work as part of a team with copywriters and communications experts Requirements
    8. Proven graphic designing experience
    9. Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
    10. Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
    11. Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
    12. Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc)
    13. Highly proficient in all design aspects
    14. Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines

  • Position Summary: The primary role of a Community mobilizer is to build capacities of members of village level institutions and citizens for achieving sustainable village development. The vacancy is in rural districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

    Key responsibilities:

    1. Create a sangathan of members belonging to village level institutions and citizens
    2. Undertake capacity building activities for members of Sangathan and other institutions
    3. Mobilize community in agriculture development and water management
    4. Programs of S M Sehgal Foundation
    5. Conduct community meetings and other awareness activities
    6. Provide technical support to the members of village level institutions for
    7. Implementing development projects in villages
    8. Represent S M Sehgal Foundation among the communities, effectively
    9. Communicate its mission and objectives, and motivate communities to adopt agreed initiatives
    10. Networking with and develop linkages with other government and non government organizations at the block level
    11. Document work progress reports

    Qualifications and experience: Graduation, with 1-2 years of experience. Knowledge of Telugu and Hindi or English is compulsory, both written and verbal.
