S M Sehgal Foundation invites applications for the position of Project Coordinator.
Location: Sanand, Gujarat
Position Requirements:
- Candidates possessing experience in the development of community infrastructure (including schools, anganwadi centres, ponds, etc.) will be given preference. A background in civil engineering or other relevant specializations is desirable.
Job Description:
- The primary role of the Project Associate is to implement the mandated interventions of the projects.
- Oversee the implementation of projects at the field level.
- Supervise and monitor field coordinators and specialists including reviewing their monthly action plans and activity reports.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual project reports, and ensure proper documentation of all project activities.
- Manage project expenditures in accordance with the organization’s financial policies.
- Document project success stories and prepare related articles.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with community leaders, grassroots organizations, NGOs, elected representatives at the panchayat and district levels, and CSR partner representatives at factory locations, as required.
- Work closely with village leaders, women’s self-help groups (SHGs), and community leaders for implementing the interventions.
- Build the capacity of field team members to effectively train community members, Village Development Committees, Gram Panchayats, and other stakeholders on various project themes.
- Stay updated on development interventions and relevant government programs.
- Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by management as per organizational requirements.
