A stronger foundation for childhood development begins with a safe, engaging, and child-friendly environment.
Under the Holistic Rural Development Programme supported by HDFC Bank Parivartan in association with S M Sehgal Foundation, an Anganwadi Center has been transformed into a Smart Anganwadi at Gajagatlapalli village, Medak, Telangana.
The upgraded center includesimproved sanitation and infrastructure, including Building as Learning Aid (BaLA) educational wall paintings, child-friendly furniture, learning materials, smart TV, RO drinking water, that benefits 50 individuals, including children, pregnant women, and lactating mothers, creating a vibrant learning space for children while providing a comfortable environment for women and families.
The center was inaugurated by Ms. Swaroopa, CDPO, Medak, Ms. Asia Sayyad, CSR Manager, HDFC Bank in the presence of Gram Panchayat representatives, Anganwadi staff, and the community members.
