S M Sehgal Foundation invites applications for the position of Assistant Program Lead.
Location: Amrabad, Nagarkurnool district, Telangana
Position Requirements:
- Fluency in Telugu (mandatory)
- Basic working knowledge of Hindi and/or English
- Willingness to work extensively in rural areas
Job Description:
The Field Assistant will support the implementation of agriculture and integrated village development projects at the grassroots level in Amrabad. The role involves close coordination with rural communities, local institutions, and project teams to ensure effective execution and follow-up of activities.
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Lead end-to-end implementation of agriculture allied activities and NTFP interventions at field level
- Develop and refine field-level strategies aligned with project goals
- Lead, mentor, and strengthen field teams; build their technical and managerial capacities
- Support teams in resolving field-level challenges and removing bottlenecks
- Drive intensive community engagement processes with rural communities and local institutions
- Establish and manage stakeholder relationships, including liaison with government departments and local administration
- Oversee data collection, data processing, monitoring, and evaluation processes
- Ensure timely reporting, compliance, and achievement of project milestones
- Ensure that S M Sehgal Foundation’s vision, mission, values, culture, policies, and procedures are adhered to
- Undertake any other responsibility assigned by management as per organizational requirements
