Ms. Ratna Prabha has a distinguished 37-year career in public service as a member of the 1981 IAS Karnataka Cadre. Post-retirement in 2019, she co-founded the Ubuntu Consortium (UC), fostering Women Entrepreneurs Associations that empower small enterprises. UC now operates across 52 associations in 11 states. With extensive experience in IT, Industry & Commerce, Skill Development, and Women Entrepreneurship, she held pivotal roles including Chief Secretary and Additional Chief Secretary in Karnataka, and served in key positions in the Department of Commerce and Industries, Ministry of Women and Child Development, and as Mission Director in the National Mission for Empowerment of Women.
